SYNOPSIS:
It's quite impossible to pinpoint an exact time when the mind becomes ill. The process of loosing oneself is a subtle and desperate journey. There's a dreamlike, nightmarish quality in suddenly realizing you're in a puddle of tears without being able to recognize why, how or what you are. Gradually the inner landscape is tinted, and at last overcome by violent, chaotic, self-destructive and unforgiving imagery.
The tracks title "Kevään syö veri" translates freely as "How Blood Eats Spring" as well as, through wordplay "The Abyss Of Spring".
LYRICS:
As a shadow would...the closer you peer, the less form reveals. And as you gaze elsewhere...like it never existed.
Yet there it lurks. Drilling ever deeper.
A field of burning stubble, upon it stretched a drum of ribs. Bullet shells piled in the haunch. Spineless weeping permeates heavens.
By father's side a sordid child. Tears pounding icy skin. Endless hunger of mouths mutilated. A continent enveloped in the stench of limbs.
